The emerging church, by its nature is a hard to define. It has been going on for around a decade and seeks to reach a generation of those who were born into a postmodern society. Others would define the emerging church within the stream of church movements and would place it as a post-seeker-sensitive church. Catching the Postmodern Wave

I was speaking in a Christian Union in a university last night. And I noticed that they’re actually really postmodern. Now I am postmodern, there’s no point denying it, I was raised in a postmodern culture. But the big difference is that I was raised in postmodern culture though also in a modern church and was and am quite happy with that. They’re not.
